RACE PROCEDURES
LINE UP:
The first week of competition all competitors may draw for starting positions in the qualifying heat races. The top 12 cars that qualify from the heat races may then re-draw for starting positions in the A-Feature. The remaining qualified cars from the heat races may be lined up behind the top 12 qualified cars, in the order they finished their respective heat races. Any cars not qualifying out of the heat races may go to the consolation race(s). They will be lined up in the consolation race(s) the way they finished the heat race (heads-up). The cars that qualify out of the consolation race will be lined up for the A-Feature behind the cars that qualified out of the heat races. (Heads-up the way they finish the consolation race(s). ( ALL DRIVERS MUST RUN HOT LAPS OR A HEAT RACE, OR REPORT MECHANICAL PROBLEMS TO THE PIT STEWARD, TO RUN IN A FEATURE EVENT AND OBTAIN POINTS. YOU CANNOT SWITCH HEAT RACES.)
POINT AVERAGE SYSTEM:
After the first regular race night of the race track each competitor that participated the first night and has returned to race the next race night (may then be lined up by a point average inverted). Any driver starting after the first night will not have a point average the first week they compete and will be required to start at the rear of the field in the heat races and cannot be lined up in the top 12 positions for the A-Feature. The point average is based on the last race night. This system is used to line up the heat races and the top 12 starting positions in the A-Feature. New drivers that qualify for the A-Feature (after the first race night) may be lined up behind any drivers that have a point average and have qualified out of the heat races. Any driver missing a
2 race night 's(after they have established a point average) will be treated as a new driver the first night they return. Any driver that is disqualified from an A-Feature will be treated as being absent and will not have a point average when they return.
QUALIFYING RACES:
All drivers should qualify in the prospective heat races for either a consolation race or the A-Feature. Any driver who has qualified for a heat race, a consolation race, or the A-Feature and doesn't race in their next scheduled race for any reason, other than what is considered a legitimate reason by the Pit Steward, will be considered absent. When they return to race, they will have no point
average .
Two cautions caused by a driver in feature events then driver will
be asked to go to the pits.
Heat races at special events: The driver will draw for starting positions.
Qualifying features: Cars will be lined up according to heat race finishes.
Heat race top 12 qualifiers will redraw for starting positions in the A-Feature. All other qualifiers will be lined up behind the top 12 qualifiers. (Heads up).
QUALIFYING RACE:CAUTION FINISHES
During the qualifying races, the race will be called complete if the leader has taken the white flag before a yellow or red caution flag is displayed. The race finish will be scored as the last completed lap without the cars that caused the caution.
FEATURE LINE UP:
After all of the qualifying races have been completed, the A-Feature line up will be as follows: If the track runs 2 heat races, they will qualify
7 cars out of each heat race and invert the highest 12 cars in point average, if a track runs 3 heat races, they will qualify
5 cars out of each heat race and invert the top-12 if a track runs 4 heat races, they will qualify
4 cars out of each heat race and invert the top-12 in point
average.
All divisions, if, after the lead car takes the white flag for the final lap, an accident occurs causing the race to be stopped, the race will be scored back to the last completed lap with one opportunity for a green/white/checkered finish. If green/white/checkered is not completed, the order of finish will be scored by reverting back to the last completed lap.
RAIN-OUT: When half of the laps of a feature event are complete, it is considered a completed event, and will be scored according to the last completed lap.
FEATURE PROVISIONALS: Based on total driver track points, A-Feature only, maximum two provisionals, per driver, per division, per race season. No provisional starting spots on the first points race night or non-points events. One provisional position will be allowed in each division, each points race night. The driver with the highest total points who does not quality through the qualifying races assigned, will be allowed a provisional starting position at the rear of their division A-Feature. You must run hot laps or your assigned heat race to quality for any feature event.
RESTART REALIGNMENTS:
All restarts will be single file. Realignments will take place on the center of the backstretch. When there is a caution, all cars must proceed to the center of the backstretch. Cars will pass the official positioned there only when signaled to do so. Any car passing this official without the official's direction may be subject to a lap penalty from his current running position and/or realigned at the rear of the line-up.
Any car passing another after realignment may be penalized one lap and/or be realigned at the rear of the line-up. Once the official has given his signal to proceed, the lead car will begin the restart parade lap. The race will be restarted with the green flag and any car out of position up to this point is referenced as position-jumping. The penalty for position-jumping will be starting at the rear of the field or disqualification at the discretion of the Competition Director.
ANY DRIVER STOPPING ON THE TRACK TO DISCUSS ANYTHING WITH AN OFFICIAL, OTHER THAN A SAFETY ISSUE, (1ST OFFENCE, RESTART IN REAR)( 2ND OFFENCE, DISQUALIFICATION FROM THAT RACE EVENT)
PUSH-STARTS:
All cars must start under their own power at all times. Failure to do so will result in starting at the rear.
TWO RE-START OPTION:
Features only: In the event any driver causes two re-starts by himself or is considered to be a hazard on the race track, he/she may be black-flagged and removed from the race track for the remainder of that race.

On-track race procedures may be run from the 2009 NASCAR Weekly Racing Series rule book.

POINT FUND PAYOUTS
NASCAR point money will be paid out as usual with the year end track points being the basis for positions being paid.
